This lens adapter allows 35mm lenses to mount on to our smaller cameras (the XLH1, HPX170, EX3, etc) or, when combined with the 2/3" compact relay lens, on to any of our large 2/3" cameras. This is the highest quality method to bring 35mm depth of field to HD cameras, with a full stop less light loss than competitor's 35mm lens adapters. 35mm lenses (either Nikon or PL mount) are projected onto spinning ground glass and refocused onto the camera's sensor. The speed of the ground glass is variable, so you can add optical grain to emulate various film stock. It's not as complicated as it sounds, and we'd be delighted to walk you through it in our prep room.

This lens adapter is optically identical to the "Ultimate" adapter above (with identical mirrors, internal lens, and ground glass), but the ground glass is always scrubbing at the fastest speed (and is not variable). 35mm lenses (either Nikon or PL mount) are projected onto high-speed scrubbing ground glass and refocused onto the camera's sensor. This adapter combines with any small HD camera, or to any 2/3" HD camera with the compact relay lens (below).

This set of rings allows our Zeiss Nikon mountable primes to work with the Canon 5D-MKII or the Canon 7D. The advantage is that Zeiss SLR lenses with Nikon mount have a manual iris, their native Canon-mount primes have an automatic internal iris that is not manually controllable (which makes cinematography particularly difficult).
